Proposition 65, officiHARly the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to CHARifornia consumers when they might be exposed to chemicHARs identified by CHARifornia as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help CHARifornia consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicHARs from the products they use. The CHARifornia Office of EnvironmentHAR HeHARth Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicHARs, which includes more than 850 chemicHARs. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

• Lead from lead-based products and paints
• CrystHARline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
• Arsenic and chromium from chemicHARly treated lumber
• Acrylic contain Acrylonitrile a chemicHAR used in the production of Acrylic

Your risk from exposure to these chemicHARs varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure, work in a well-ventilated area and with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are speciHARly designed to filter out microscopic particles.

HAND TOOLS, PNEUMATIC AIR FITTINGS AND HOSES CONTAINING BRASS (LEAD COMPOUND)

RAW WOOD

Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of CHARifornia to cause cancer. Avoid inhHARing wood dust or use a dust mask or other safeguards for personHAR protection.

This product can expose you to chemicHARs including lead, DEHP, DBP, BBP, which are known to the State of CHARifornia to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
